Professional License Fingerprinting Near Near East, OH

Ohio has over 50 professional licensing boards, and most require a BCI — and many require FBI — background check as part of the license application. From nursing and real estate to cosmetology, social work, and pharmacy, each board has its own ORI code that routes results to the right place. We handle fingerprinting for all Ohio licensing boards at our Near East-area office. Bring your board's ORI and a valid ID, and we'll take care of the rest.

Who Needs Professional License Fingerprinting?

License reinstatement applicants

Legal Requirements

Ohio Revised Code authorizes criminal records checks for licensed professionals under each profession's governing statute (ORC 4723 for nursing, 4735 for real estate, 4713 for cosmetology, 4757 for counselors, 4729 for pharmacy, etc.). Each board has a unique ORI. Using the wrong ORI routes results to the wrong place and requires re-fingerprinting.

What to Expect

Your board's application instructions will specify the ORI to use. Bring that ORI and a valid photo ID. If you're applying to multiple boards simultaneously, each requires a separate ORI submission — we can do multiple in one visit.

Turnaround

BCI: 2–5 business days. FBI: 7–21 days.

Cost

BCI: $42 per board submission. BCI + FBI: $67.
