We guide trucking companies through BOC-3 filing requirements.

What Is BOC-3

BOC-3 (Blanket of Coverage) is a form required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for trucking companies operating interstate commerce. The BOC-3 designates a process agent in each state where you operate, who can accept legal documents on your behalf.

Why BOC-3 Is Required

FMCSA requires BOC-3 filing to ensure that legal documents can be served on trucking companies in every state where they operate. This is required for both DOT number registration and MC authority. Without proper BOC-3 filing, you cannot obtain or maintain your operating authority.
