What This Form Is
Form N-336, Request for a Hearing on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings, is used to request a hearing before an immigration officer when your N-400 Application for Naturalization has been denied. This form gives you the opportunity to have your case reviewed by a different USCIS officer and present additional evidence or testimony to support your eligibility for U.S. citizenship.
Who Can File
- Applicants whose N-400 Application for Naturalization was denied by USCIS
- Must file within 30 days of receiving the denial decision
- Applicants who believe USCIS made an error in denying their naturalization application
- Those who have new or additional evidence to present
